Leaving Kansas...hello Missouri (August 10-11)

It has been a few days...we are slacking on our posts!  Pittsburg was our last town in KS.  We stayed at a city RV park with no attendants.  It was really nice!  Blacktop rv spots with water and electric for only $20 (honor system).  They had a dump station on site.  That's it for KS!

On to Springfield MO KOA!!  Yes, a pool again!  On the way there we stopped at a popular Trans American bike location in Garden City.  Cooky's Cafe, John stopped about an hour before I did.  While I was there I saw 5 other cross country cycling people (2 groups)!  Obviously this joint has a reputation.  They had about 30 different pie selections..,all looked amazing.  I tried the peach pie, Charlotte had the Reese's pie.

I think I'm allowed to be a little offended by the last item...

Rest day tomorrow...visit to Branson!
