Today we left Colorado and entered Kansas. We didn't have a campground reservation however we found a water/electric site at the sand dunes state park. We didn't see any staff or any others but that's ok. We found a really nice community pool for the afternoon. John ran into another cross country rider headed in the same direction as us. All of the riders we have seen so far are headed West not East.
I found this fun bug on the clothes that were drying outside.
Since leaving Pueblo we have opted not to follow the Adventure Cycling route and instead are following US 50...for now. This was advised by other riders and helps with camping options and services during the day. Tomorrow we are headed to either Garden City or Dodge City.
